Fat Burning Diet Plan

If you read magazines or surf the Internet regularly then you cannot fail to notice how many different fat burning diet plans are available. Although they all claim to give amazing results and it can get a little confusing as to which would be the best one for you to follow.

I believe the most successful fat burning diets are the ones that you can follow consistently and maintain for a long enough period to you reach your targets. The main reason for people failing to lose weight is that they cannot keep their diet under control in terms of what and how much they eat.

So when you are looking for the right fat burning diet for you have to decide which rules fit best for your life and personality. By fitting the diet to you rather than trying to fit to the diet you have a better chance of sticking with it and getting the best results.

To do this you will need to do a little research and be a little experimental.

So when reading the popular websites, blogs and magazines that gives fitness information that you trust and enjoy start looking for fat burning diets and fat loss plans that will be recommended or advertised.

Read up on the diet and make notes on what approach they take. Do they advocate high protein, low carb, low fat eating less calories or just consuming certain type of foods?

From here make a list of 10 strategies that appeal and you think you can follow. Now I am not saying go and buy all these different products but just take the main diet strategy that they promote ie low carbs and try to implement this into your routine for about 2 weeks.

After this time you should have a good idea whether this will work for you in terms of whether you have lost weight and that it is easy for you to manage. As I said before the best diet is the one where you don’t feel like you’re on a diet. So if after 2 weeks your happy to keep going then that is great. However if you have found it difficult to follow and not lost any weight then discard it and move on to the next one.

This is the simplest way to tell if something will work for YOU. If the strategy you picked sounded like a good idea but just didn’t fit into your life no problem just keep going back to the list and try them one by one till you get it right.

Personally I have found over the years that my fat burning diet strategies have changed as my life has changed. For me now I like a simple diet that is effective but is not too restrictive and this is why I follow the strategies promoted in Eat Stop Eat. It promotes 2-3 intermittent fast days per week while eating normally on the other days which I find works for me and my lifestyle.

I believe that finding the right fat burning diets for you is crucial to your long term weight loss management. So before you throw yourself into another diet regime just take a moment to study whether this is realistic plan for you and your life.
